Our Benefits

There are many benefits to caring for a foster child with Nexus Fostering, however, we excel in our support services, respite and our commitment to providing a competitive allowance.

We understand that providing for a child can be time and money-consuming. This is why we strive to provide our carers with competitive allowances. There are many factors that may affect the amount you are paid, particularly;

  • Location of your home
  • Fostering service
  • Age of your foster child
  • Your foster child’s needs
  • Your skills

However, our allowance will cover the costs involved with caring for your foster child, including expenses as well as an extra amount to reward you for your time and care.

Support Services

We understand that being a parent can be taxing on both your mental and physical health. This is why we offer various forms of training and support. We are proud to offer 24/7 support from our highly trained social workers and various events across the country available to any of our foster parents – this can greatly help you become better educated and feel more confident as a parent.

The Benefits Of Fostering

Despite being difficult at times, fostering is ultimately a hugely rewarding experience. Your job as a foster parent includes all the same responsibilities that a biological parent has and more. The joys of raising a child are an amazing opportunity and seeing a child grow and helping them to become a happy and successful person is a unique experience. When paired with our support services, we believe any foster parent can become a strong role model for a child.
