Nexus Fostering brings information events to Thetford

The Thetford area is experiencing a growing shortage of foster carers. This shortage means that some children are being placed away from their home communities, schools, and familiarities. By becoming a foster carer locally, you can play a vital role in helping children remain close to the places and people that matter most.

Ancient House Museum has kindly provided Nexus Fostering a space in their Tudor Hall, offering a welcoming area for these informal drop-in sessions. Visitors will have the chance to meet Leanne, ask questions, and find out more about helping children across Thetford by becoming a foster carer.

Dates for your diary:

  • Tuesday 16th September, 11am-1pm
  • Friday 24th October, 11am-1pm
  • Wednesday 19th November, 11am-1pm
  • Friday 19th December, 11am-1pm

With more children entering foster care and too few foster carers available locally, Nexus Fostering is welcoming individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life to take the first step in changing a young person’s life and helping create positive outcomes.

Foster carers are fully trained and receive dedicated 24/7 support alongside a generous allowance and a chance to be a part of a fantastic fostering community.

If you can’t make the information events and want to learn more, call 01603 811 118 or click here to arrange a call back at a time that suits you.
