This December, our Gloucester team have proudly joined the festive celebrations at the Worcester Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival, an annual community event that brings together charities, schools, and local organisations to decorate Christmas trees with their own unique message.
Surrounded by hundreds of twinkling lights and creativity, our tree stands as a celebration of the people who make fostering so special.
Instead of traditional decorations, our Christmas tree is covered quotes from our incredible foster carers and the inspiring children and young people we support.
Each ribbon holds a message of love, resilience, belonging, and hope. These heartfelt decorations represent what fostering truly means, not just during the festive season, but every day of the year.
We are honoured to take part in the festival alongside other amazing charities, schools, and local businesses across Worcester. Events like this highlight the strength of our community and the impact we can have when we come together.
Being part of the Christmas Tree Festival is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness about fostering while celebrating the people who make it possible our carers, young people, and dedicated Nexus staff.
If you’re visiting Worcester Cathedral this Christmas, we’d love for you to stop by and find our tree among the many creative displays.
