Nexus Fostering sponsors Circus Starr to create magical moments for children across Norfolk

Circus Starr Great Yarmouth

We’re proud to support Circus Starr!

Circus Starr is a truly special charity with a simple but powerful mission: to make the magic of the circus accessible to every child — especially those who might otherwise miss out.

At Nexus Fostering, giving back to our community is at the heart of everything we do. Our Anglia team covering Norfolk & Suffolk are proud to support Circus Starr, a charitable organisation dedicated to bringing joy, laughter, and unforgettable experiences to children and families who need it most.

For many families facing challenges such as disability, bereavement, financial hardship, or domestic violence, mainstream events can feel overwhelming or out of reach. Circus Starr changes that by creating inclusive, welcoming, and judgement-free performances where joy is encouraged, movement is celebrated, and every child is free to be themselves.

Their accessible shows are thoughtfully designed for children with additional needs or those going through difficult times — right here in Great Yarmouth. It’s more than just a circus; it’s a safe space filled with laughter, colour, and connection.

For children and young people in foster care, opportunities like this can be especially meaningful. Many may never have experienced family outings or events such as a circus and may have faced trauma from a young age. Experiences like Circus Starr give foster carers the chance to share something truly special, creating happy memories that can last a lifetime.

Circus Starr really is a circus with a purpose, bringing carers, parents & families together and creating treasured moments of joy. Nexus Fostering is thrilled to support such a fantastic cause.
