Nexus Fostering are proud to be Hitchin Town Community Football Club newest Social Media sponsors. With their state-of-the-art arena and football training facilities, Hitchin Town FC are a ‘true community club’. They work closely within their community with youth diversionary and various social inclusion projects, from the formation of ‘Ability Counts’ providing disabled football players the opportunity to join a team and play regular competitive football, to working with disadvantaged youngsters, providing local youths with activities to divert them away from social behaviour.

Joanne Heathcote, Nexus Fostering's Carer Recruitment and Engagement Lead says:

“Fostering is one of the most rewarding careers that you could possibly have.  Nexus Fostering Three Counties team are a service that recruits, trains, and supports foster carers across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire, to care for some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the area. We are delighted to support Hitchin Town’s vision in making a difference to local children and young people”.

Becoming a foster carer is essential to enable these children to grow and flourish into independent, well-rounded adults. Children and young people come from different backgrounds, so we require foster carers who represent the diversity of today's society. If you have a spare bedroom, the time and the inclination to offer a safe, warm and nurturing home to a child, speak to one of our fostering advisor’s on 0800 389 0143.
