Location: Harrow

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday-Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Administration Coordinator to join the team at Nexus Fostering.  We are looking for an organised and driven individual to join our Core Services team at our Harrow office.

The Role

The Recruitment Admin Coordinator role is a pivotal role in which the post holder will be responsible for the maintenance and management of systems and procedures used in the recruitment of our potential Foster Carers.

As a Recruitment Admin Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining the application process for all prospective carers, issuing application packs and being on hand to answer any potential queries applicants may have.  You will also be responsible for overseeing all statutory checks for new foster carers, such as DBS and reference checks whilst highlighting any areas of concern and undertaking regular audits to ensure all checks are completed to the highest standards. The successful applicant will not only be required to undertake the various administrative tasks required by the role but will also be responsible for maintaining the companies database appropriately, as well as producing statistical reports as required.

The successful candidate will need to have good administrative skills and be proactive in their approach whilst ensuring that a high level of accuracy is maintained as you will be required to closely follow the processes and systems for all aspects of fostering assessment.

What we’re looking for…

  • Experience of utilising a range of IT programmes and maintaining database systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word & Excel
  • Able to work with confidential and sensitive information
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing with a wide audience
  • Able to work with a degree of autonomy, in a flexible and creative manner, whilst observing policies and procedures
