Fostering in Nottingham

Are you based in Nottingham and the surrounding area and looking for a role where you can really make a lasting difference? Have you considered fostering? We are always looking for foster carers in the Nottingham area and would love you to join our team. Anybody is capable of making a positive difference to a child’s life; we need carers from all cultures and backgrounds whether married, single or living with a partner as we try to match the child to their background as often as possible.

If you meet the following criteria we’d love to hear from you:

  • Tolerance, determination, optimism, resilience and a good sense of humour 
  • Enthusiasm, commitment & stability 
  • Prepared to foster from a wide age range 
  • Open to receiving advice and guidance from other professionals around you

As a Nexus Fostering foster carer you will receive as standard:

  • Regular phone calls and visits from your Nexus Fostering social worker
  • An allowance from £357 to £819 
  • 14 days paid respite a year
  • Training in all aspects of looking after a young person in your home
