foster with us

Are you a resident in Norfolk who is considering a career fostering?

East Anglia currently has more than 4,000 children with multiple needs who are looking for foster placements and a place to call home. We’re looking for new and transferring foster carers to join our fostering family in areas such as Norwich and King’s Lynn.

As a foster carer, you will be making a life-changing difference to children and young people in your local community, by:

  • Helping young people gain life experience, and provide them with opportunities which may not have been available to them otherwise
  • Providing them with a stable and nurturing home environment, thereby ending cycle of neglect
  • Setting them up for a positive future, allowing them to grow to their full potential

liz's story

“We’ve been fostering now for more than 25 years, we moved away from the local authority fostering service and have found that the support we have received since fostering with Nexus has been second to none.

“There will always be challenges that you will face as a foster carer, but the team at Nexus Fostering are amazing and they have supported us through our times of struggle, they are patient and understanding and provide 24/7 assistance whenever we have needed it.

“If you’re considering fostering I would just say go for it, it’s incredibly rewarding.”
