Local Authorities

Nexus Fostering works with Local Authorities to provide high-quality, best-value, well-supported placements with foster carers who are trained and enabled to care for complex children and young people who encompass a variety of challenges. Our foster carers are based in West and North London, Thames Valley, M4 corridor, Gloucestershire, West Midlands, The East of England (including Bedfordshire) and are from a wide variety of ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.

Nexus Fostering offers a range of placements including:

• Permanent / long term
• Sibling group
• Emergency
• Short Term
• Bridging
• Parent and child
• Asylum seekers and refugees

Nexus Fostering has a number of single placements, and placements for large sibling groups. All Local Authority social workers receive a monthly report for each child in placement with Nexus Fostering foster carers, using the 5 outcomes identified in Every Child Matters, to summarise key events and achievements.

We specialise in making placements on a permanent basis and have a record of success in making successful permanent placements as well as converting short-term placements into permanent ones.
