Milton Keynes is still sometimes known as a "New Town", despite being founded in 1967. Its modernist design is evident in the architectural structure of the buildings and layouts, by respected UK urban planners.
Although the town boasts of its new constructions, the area hasn't lost its cultural ambiance. It has museums and parks that are common to any UK town. One particular museum that stands out is the National Museum of Computing. It's a trove of working computers that go as far back as the 80's. Most foster children will love this place!
