Fostering in Essex

Are you based in Essex and want to make a real and lasting difference to the life of a vulnerable child or young person? If so, we need you.

We are always looking for foster carers in the area who can provide stability, understanding and a listening ear.

The benefits of fostering

Making the decision to foster a child means that you are taking on a role that is challenging but ultimately rewarding and fulfilling. Children are often fostered at what is a crucial time in their development physically and emotionally. You could be the foster carer who provides the love and security they need they need in order to grow, develop and reach their full potential. It’s one of the most enriching things you can do for another person.

Of course, we don’t except you to simply jump in and foster a child as if you have been doing it for years; we’re well known for the excellent training and ongoing support we provide to all of our foster carers and you will always be looked after at every stage of your journey with us. If you want to talk to us face to face about fostering then come to one of our drop in events at our Essex office.

As a Nexus Fostering foster carer you will receive as standard:
