Teenagers in Foster Care: a handbook for foster carers and those that support them.

The people at the Rees Centre, based at Oxford University, have researched and produced a new booklet "Teenagers in Foster Care: a handbook for foster carers and those that support them" as part of their seminar series funded by the Economic and Social Research Council.

Addressing key areas facing foster carers who look after teenagers such as transitions, attachment, expectations and aspirations, the content in the handbook has been informed by research evidence and the people at the Rees Centre hope it will help those who take on this challenging and much-needed role.

Fancy having a look?  It's free to download here http://po.st/LJzkmy  or get in touch with the Rees Centre here: rees.centre@education.ox.ac.uk and they'll pop one in the post to you.

Further resources from the seminar series, including detailed reports and other outputs, are available on the Rees Centre website.
